Position Overview:
This role involves working directly with students to assess, diagnose, and implement treatment plans for a range of communication disorders. Our ideal candidate is passionate, experienced, and committed to supporting students unique needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address specific needs.
- Conduct individual and group therapy sessions, adjusting approaches based on progress.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to integrate therapy strategies into the classroom.
- Monitor and document student progress, adjusting goals as needed to achieve success.
- Provide resources and support to parents and caregivers for continuous improvement at home.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Valid Florida state SLP license or eligibility to obtain one.
- ASHA certification (CCC-SLP) preferred.
- Strong organizational and documentation skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team of educators and support staff.
- Experience in school-based settings is a plus.
