Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
- Valid state licensure and/or certification as a Speech Language Pathologist.
- Experience working with children in an educational setting is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of speech and language development and disorders.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and assess students speech and language abilities to identify communication disorders.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address students' specific speech and language needs.
- Provide direct therapy services to students with speech and language impairments.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress and educational goals.
- Monitor and document student progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
- Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute to team discussions.
- Stay informed of current research and best practices in speech-language pathology.
