Blazer Jobs is seeking a School Social Worker for an elementary K-3 caseload in Dearborn, MI. This position covers a maternity leave but may extend beyond the initial dates.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide social work services to K-3 students, addressing emotional, social, and behavioral issues.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to create a supportive educational environment.
- Conduct assessments and provide individual or group counseling to students in need.
- Support the development of positive social skills and assist with conflict resolution.
Qualifications:
- Active Michigan School Social Worker (SSW) licensure.
- Experience working with elementary-aged students preferred.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
