Blazer Jobs is seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team in Dearborn, MI. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled professional passionate about helping students achieve communication success in a supportive school environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide individual and group speech therapy services to students in accordance with their IEPs.
- Conduct assessments to identify speech, language, and communication needs and develop tailored intervention plans.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to create a comprehensive support system.
- Document student progress and adjust therapy goals as needed.
- Participate in IEP meetings, providing insights on student progress and necessary adaptations.
Education, License, and Certification Requirements:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Michigan SLP licensure through the Michigan Board of Speech-Language Pathology.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from ASHA preferred.
- Minimum of one year of experience working in a school or pediatric setting.
