Overview:
We are seeking enthusiastic and skilled Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) to join our team in Walnut Creek, CA. We offer both onsite and virtual positions across the district, providing flexibility to meet the needs of our students. Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to evaluate speech and language abilities in students.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment outcomes.
- Provide therapy services in both individual and group settings, either onsite or virtually.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to enhance students communication skills.
- Monitor and document student progress, adjusting interventions as needed.
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of individualized education plans.
- Educate families on speech and language development and strategies for support at home.
Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders.
- Valid California Speech-Language Pathologist license.
- Licensed in your home state as well.
- ASHA Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred.
- Experience working with school-aged children is a plus.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
