Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and evaluate students' physical abilities and needs.
- Develop and implement individualized physical therapy plans to support students' participation in school activities.
- Provide direct therapy services, monitor progress, and adjust plans as needed.
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to ensure therapy strategies are effectively incorporated into classroom routines.
- Train and educate school personnel on physical therapy techniques to support students throughout the school day.
- Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with school policies and state regulations.
Requirements:
- Active Physical Therapist (PT) license in California.
- Experience working in a school or pediatric setting preferred.
- Strong organizational, communication, and teamwork skills.
- Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support students' needs.
