We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate Occupational Therapist to join our dedicated team of educators and support staff. As an OT, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the learning experience for students by addressing their unique sensory, motor, and development needs. Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough assessments to identify students' strengths and challenges related to sensory and motor development.
- Develop and implement individualized OT plans to address the specific needs of students, focusing on improving functional abilities in the school environment.
- Work collaboratively with teachers, special education staff, and other professionals to integrate OT strategies into the classroom setting.
- Provide consultation to teachers, parents, and other team members on effective strategies and accommodations to support students in their academic and social participation.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of assessments, interventions, and progress reports in compliance with school and regulatory requirements.
Job Qualifications:
- Masters degree in occupational therapy
- Must hold active WashingtonOT license.
- Previous experience as Occupational Therapist preferred.
