Blazer Jobs is actively seeking an experienced School Psychologist for a full-time position in Romeoville, IL. This role involves providing comprehensive psychological services to students, supporting their mental, emotional, and behavioral health within the school setting.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Active Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with a School Psychologist endorsement.
- Masters or Specialist Degree in School Psychology.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a school setting.
- Strong knowledge of assessment, evaluation, and intervention strategies.
- Ability to pass a background check and meet district-specific requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychoeducational evaluations to assess students' academic, cognitive, emotional, and social functioning.
- Develop and implement individualized support plans for students, including participation in the IEP process.
- Provide individual and group counseling to students as needed.
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to develop strategies to support student success.
- Provide crisis intervention and support when necessary.
- Monitor student progress and provide ongoing consultation to staff and families.
