Blazer Jobs is actively interviewing for a full-time Occupational Therapist (OT) position within school districts in the Springfield, MA area. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work with students and make a meaningful impact on their development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to identify students' occupational therapy needs.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to enhance students' motor, sensory, and daily living skills.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school professionals to support students' educational goals.
- Monitor and document students' progress, adjusting interventions as necessary.
- Provide direct therapy services, and consult with educators to adapt classroom activities for students with diverse needs.
Requirements:
- Master's or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy.
- Active state OT license.
- Certification from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT).
- Prior experience in a school setting preferred.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
