Blazer Jobs is actively seeking a skilled and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a full-time position within school districts in the Dallas, TX area. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to work closely with students, teachers, and families to enhance students' communication skills and support their overall educational experience.
Position Overview:
- Role: Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)

- Renewal: Annual contract renewal based on performance
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations to assess students' needs
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans that target specific communication challenges
- Provide direct therapy sessions focused on language, articulation, fluency, and voice disorders
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to foster a cohesive educational plan
- Participate in IEP (Individualized Education Program) meetings, contributing expert recommendations
- Document student progress and adjust treatment plans based on ongoing assessments
Qualifications:
- Education: Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Licensure: Current and valid SLP license issued by the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR)
- Certification: Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from ASHA is preferred
- Clearances: Up-to-date background check and TB test as per district and state requirements
- Experience: Prior experience in a school setting is highly preferred, with strong communication and teamwork skills
