Position Overview:
As a School Psychologist, you will provide essential psychological services to support the emotional and academic development of students. Your expertise will play a vital role in creating a positive school environment and ensuring that students receive the support they need to thrive.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations for students in grades PK-8
- Provide counseling and support services to students facing social, emotional, or behavioral challenges
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to develop and implement intervention strategies
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to the development of individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Offer training and resources to staff on mental health and behavioral issues
Qualifications:
- Master's degree or higher in School Psychology or a related field
- Valid state licensure as a School Psychologist
- Experience working with children and adolescents, particularly in an educational setting
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams
