Responsibilities:
- Assess and evaluate students' occupational therapy needs through formal assessments and observational techniques.
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized therapy plans tailored to each students unique needs and goals.
- Provide direct occupational therapy services, including fine motor skills training, sensory integration strategies, and functional skill development.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to create a supportive environment that fosters student growth and success.
- Maintain accurate documentation of therapy sessions, progress reports, and compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Participate in team meetings, IEP (Individualized Education Program) discussions, and professional development sessions to enhance service delivery.
Qualifications:
- Valid Occupational Therapy license in the state of Delaware.
- A masters degree or higher in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
- Experience working in a school setting preferred, with knowledge of special education regulations and practices.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
