Position Overview: Blazer Jobs is currently seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist for a contract position in Broomall, Pennsylvania.This school-based role involves working closely with students to support their physical, emotional, and educational development through specialized therapeutic interventions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct occupational therapy services to students in accordance with their individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Assess students' needs and develop targeted therapy goals to enhance their academic and social participation.
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to integrate therapy into the classroom and home environments.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of student progress and treatment plans.
- Adhere to all local and state regulations and school district policies.
Qualifications:
- Must meet all requirements set forth by local and state regulations.
- Valid Occupational Therapy license in the state of PA.
- Previous experience in a school setting or with pediatric populations is preferred.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
