Position Overview:

Responsibilities:
As an SLP with Blazer Jobs, your role will include:
- Conducting assessments to identify speech, language, and communication disorders.
- Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans and IEPs for students with identified needs.
- Providing direct therapy to students, working collaboratively with teachers, parents, and school staff to support students' language development.
- Monitoring and documenting student progress, adjusting interventions as needed.
- Participating in IEP meetings and providing consultative support to the educational team.
- Complying with state and district policies and maintaining appropriate documentation.
Requirements:
Applicants must meet all local and state requirements for Idaho:
- Education: Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
- Licensure: Idaho state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or eligibility for licensure.
- Certification: ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred.
- Experience: Prior experience in a school-based setting is strongly preferred.
- Skills: Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills; ability to work effectively with students, staff, and parents.
