Position Overview:
We are looking for a passionate Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team and make a meaningful impact on the lives of students with hearing and/or vision loss, including those with multiple disabilities. In this role, you will assess and provide targeted speech and language services to foster students' communication skills and collaborate with faculty to integrate speech strategies within the classroom environment.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments.
- Develop and implement IEP goals and services tailored to each students needs.
- Provide direct services to students with hearing or vision loss, including those with multiple disabilities.
- Collaborate with school staff to schedule therapy sessions and support the reinforcement of language strategies in the classroom.
- Participate in professional development for continuous learning and team-building.
- Maintain clinical competency in speech-language pathology practices.
- Keep accurate records and complete documentation as required by federal, state, and local agencies.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) through ASHA.
- Licensed SLP with the Idaho Bureau of Occupational Licenses.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
