Occupational Therapist (OT) Full-Time Opportunity
Location: Scranton, PA

Blazer Jobs is currently seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist (OT) for a full-time role with school districts in the Scranton, PA area. This is a rewarding opportunity to work with students in a school setting, providing essential therapy services to help them succeed academically and socially.

Qualifications:

Must hold an active Pennsylvania Occupational Therapy License.
Bachelors degree or higher in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
Must meet local and state requirements for working in school districts in Pennsylvania, including background checks and fingerprinting.
Experience working with children in an educational setting is highly preferred, but not required.
Strong communication and collaboration skills to work with students, teachers, and families.

Responsibilities:

Provide individual and group occupational therapy services to students, addressing fine motor skills, sensory processing, and other developmental concerns.
Develop and implement individualized therapy plans based on students needs, goals, and educational requirements.
Conduct assessments to evaluate students functional abilities and determine therapy needs.
Collaborate with teachers and school staff to integrate therapy goals into classroom activities and ensure students' participation in school routines.
Participate in IEP (Individualized Education Plan) meetings and provide progress updates.
Provide training and support to teachers and parents to assist students with daily activities and classroom tasks.
Monitor and document student progress and adjust therapy plans as needed.
Assist with the development and use of adaptive equipment to support students learning.
