School Physical Therapist (PT) - Full Time ($55-60 hr)

Blazerworks has partnered with the Auburn School District to seek a dedicated and compassionate School Physical Therapist for the upcoming school year. This is a full-time position that offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on students' lives through personalized therapy services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive physical therapy services to students based on their Individualized Education Plans (IEPs).
- Conduct initial assessments and ongoing evaluations to determine student needs and progress.
- Develop, implement, and modify individualized treatment plans that align with educational goals.
- Collaborate with educators, special education teams, and families to ensure a supportive environment for each student.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of student progress and therapy interventions.
- Provide guidance and support to teachers and staff on integrating physical therapy strategies into the classroom.
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise to the development of student goals and objectives.
- Stay current with best practices in physical therapy and special education through professional development and training.
Qualifications:
- Current Washington State Physical Therapy License.
- Previous experience working with children, particularly in a school or clinical setting, is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with students, parents, and staff.
- A commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive educational environment.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented setting.
