Blazer Jobs is actively interviewing experienced Speech-Language Pathologists (SLP) for a full-time role with school districts in the Thermal, CA area. We are looking for compassionate, skilled professionals who are dedicated to providing high-quality speech and language services to students in an educational setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in students.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on students' specific needs.
- Provide direct therapy services to students in individual or group settings.
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and parents to track progress and develop strategies to improve communication skills.
- Work with students on social communication skills and language development.
- Maintain accurate records of therapy sessions, assessments, and student progress.
- Provide consultations and support to teachers and parents regarding speech and language issues.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Current state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist in California (or ability to obtain).
- ASHA Certification (preferred but not required).
- Previous experience working in a school setting is a plus.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong passion for helping students succeed academically and socially.
