Overview:
We are looking for a compassionate and dedicated School Social Worker to join the school district in San Francisco, CA. This full-time role focuses on providing social, emotional, and behavioral support to students to help them succeed academically and socially.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide individual and group counseling to students.
- Support students and families facing social and emotional challenges.
- Coordinate services with external agencies, such as mental health resources.
- Advocate for students well-being and social integration within the school environment.
- Participate in the development of IEPs and assist in the implementation of social-emotional interventions.
Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Social Work (MSW) or related field.
- California State licensure (LCSW preferred).
- Experience in a school setting preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
