Minimum 1+ years school psychologist experience required.
Blazer Jobs is actively interviewing experienced School Psychologists for a full-time role within school districts in the Sterling, IL area.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to evaluate students' educational, social, and emotional needs.
- Design and implement intervention strategies tailored to individual student needs.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to enhance student success.
- Provide individual and group counseling and behavioral consultation.
- Participate in the development of IEPs and 504 plans.
Requirements:
- Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited institution.
- Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with a School Psychologist endorsement.
- Previous experience working in school settings.
- Knowledge of Illinois state and federal special education laws and regulations.
- Background check as required by Illinois law.
