A school near Shiprock, New Mexico is in need of an onsite psychologist forthe current school year!
Hours: Full time/ 37.5 hrs per week, school year's remainder
Itinerant
Caseload: K-12 grade school caseload
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments to evaluate students' cognitive, social, and emotional functioning.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents/guardians, and other professionals to develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and behavior intervention plans (BIPs).
- Provide counseling and support to students, addressing social and emotional needs.
Requirements:
- Active NM PED Licensure for Instructional Support Provider (School Psychologist License
- Masters degree preferred Educational/Certification
- Experience conducting psychological assessments in a school or educational setting.
- Strong knowledge of special education laws and regulations.
