Job Duties:
- Provide one-on-one and group counseling to students experiencing social, emotional, or behavioral issues.
- Develop behavior intervention plans and manage crises.
- Work with staff, parents, and community resources to create a supportive environment for students.
- Conduct assessments and provide tailored intervention strategies.
- Track student progress and adjust interventions when needed.
- Ensure compliance with state and school regulations.
State-Specific Requirements:
- License: Licensed by the New Mexico Board of Social Work Examiners (LMSW, LISW, or LCSW).
- Education: Masters degree in Social Work (MSW).
- Experience: At least one year of experience in a school setting.
