Job Description:
We are seeking an organized and compassionate Occupational Therapist to work with students aged 3 to 22in a school in Rosamond, CA. The ideal candidate will assess, develop, and implement individualized therapy plans that promote students' functional skills, independence, and overall well-being.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify the needs of students.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each student.
- Provide direct therapy services in one-on-one and group settings.
- Monitor and document student progress, adjusting plans as necessary.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students' goals.
- Create and maintain organized records of therapy sessions and student progress.
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of appropriate goals.
Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
- Valid California Occupational Therapist license.
- Experience working with children and young adults, preferably in a school setting.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
