Local and State Requirements:
- Masters degree in Social Work (MSW).
- California Social Work licensure (LCSW or equivalent).
- Experience working in a school setting is preferred.
- Strong communication and case management skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide individual counseling to students with emotional and behavioral needs.
- Design and implement strategies to improve student success and well-being.
- Work with parents, educators, and other professionals to create support plans.
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of students educational goals.
- Provide crisis intervention and support during emergencies.
