Blazerworks has partnered with the Simi Valley School District to fill a full-time School Occupational Therapist (OT) position for the 2024-2025 school year. Were looking for a dedicated OT who is passionate about student development, providing essential support to help students overcome barriers to learning and succeed in school environments.
Position Details:
- Location: Simi Valley, CA
- Position Type: Full-time, School Year Contract (2024-2025)
- Grade Levels: PreK-12 (specific caseload based on experience and school needs)
- Responsibilities:
- Assess and develop individualized treatment plans based on students' specific needs
- Provide direct therapy sessions to improve fine motor skills, sensory processing, and other critical developmental areas
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other staff to support and adapt learning environments for student success
- Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to all state and district guidelines for special education services
Qualifications:
- Valid California OT license
- Masters degree in Occupational Therapy
- Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting is preferred
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
