We are now interviewing for a dedicated and skilled School Physical Therapist (PT) to join our team in Denver, CO. This full-time, onsite role offers a chance to make a meaningful impact on students from kindergarten through 12th grade by providing high-quality physical therapy services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct physical therapy interventions for students with diverse needs across K-12 grades.
- Assess students physical abilities, mobility, and motor skills to determine therapy needs.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on student assessments.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other school staff to ensure comprehensive student care.
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student goal-setting and progress tracking.
- Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of therapy sessions and student progress.
- Educate teachers and staff on adaptive strategies to support students physical functioning in the classroom.
Requirements:
- Active Colorado Physical Therapist (PT) License.
- Experience working with pediatric populations, preferably in a school-based setting.
- Strong understanding of child development and evidence-based physical therapy practices.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and teamwork skills.
- Ability to manage a diverse caseload effectively and adapt therapy plans as needed.
