Blazer Jobs is seeking a School Psychologist to serve a school district in Fort Smith, AR. This position allows you to make a meaningful impact by addressing students' psychological needs and fostering a safe and supportive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological evaluations and assessments to address students academic and behavioral needs.
- Develop and assist in the implementation of individualized educational programs (IEPs).
- Provide crisis intervention, counseling, and mental health support.
- Work collaboratively with teachers, staff, and parents to support student well-being.
- Guide school personnel on best practices for fostering a supportive school climate.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree or higher in School Psychology.
- Valid Arkansas School Psychology certification.
- Licensed as a School Psychologist by the Arkansas Department of Education.
- At least one year of school-based experience as a School Psychologist.
