Blazer Jobs is seeking a School Psychology Examiner in Fort Smith, Arkansas in assessing student needs and determining eligibility for special education services. This full-time, onsite role involves direct evaluation, consulting with staff, and assisting in educational planning.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct observations, administer assessments, and interpret results to measure students cognitive, academic, and behavioral capabilities.
- Collaborate with educators and staff to determine eligibility for special education services and provide guidance on appropriate student placements.
- Offer training and consultation on special education practices and procedures.
- Assist with occupational guidance and re-evaluation processes to support student progress and goal attainment.
Qualifications:
- Masters Degree in School Psychology or a related field.
- Must hold or be eligible for an Arkansas Teachers License with a 272-School Psychology Specialist or 241-Educational Examiner certification.
- Strong knowledge of administering and interpreting standardized testing instruments.
