Blazer Jobs is seeking a School Psychologist to join our partner school district in Fort Smith, AR. This role involves providing comprehensive psychological services to students, including assessments, counseling, and intervention strategies to support their educational and emotional development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological evaluations and assessments.
- Provide individual and group counseling sessions.
- Develop and implement intervention strategies.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrative staff to support student needs.
- Participate in the development of individualized education programs (IEPs).
- Conduct research and stay current with best practices in educational psychology.
Requirements:
- Masters or Doctoral degree in Psychology.
- Valid state licensure or certification as a School Psychologist.
- Experience working in a school setting is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Professional references are required.
