Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and evaluations for K-12 students.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to develop and implement effective intervention strategies.
- Participate in IEP meetings, providing expert insights and recommendations for student support services.
- Deliver direct counseling and therapeutic services to students, addressing academic, emotional, and social challenges.
- Facilitate crisis intervention and provide support for students experiencing acute emotional distress.
- Maintain detailed documentation of student progress and outcomes, adjusting interventions as needed.
Requirements:
- Active School Psychologist license in the state of California.
- Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or a related field.
- Previous experience working in a K-12 school setting is highly preferred.
- Strong understanding of IEP processes and special education laws.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with diverse student populations and multidisciplinary teams.
