Blazer Jobs is partnering with a school district in the North Platte, NE area to hire a dedicated and professional School Psychologist for a full-time position in a special education setting for the 2025-2026 school year. This role requires bilingual proficiency in both Spanish and English to effectively serve a diverse student population. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide psychological assessments, counseling, and support services to students in special education programs
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Conduct evaluations and provide recommendations related to students academic, behavioral, and emotional needs
- Assist in crisis intervention and behavior management strategies
- Support school staff in creating an inclusive and positive school environment for students with disabilities
- Provide bilingual services to Spanish-speaking students and their families
Requirements:
- State licensure and certification as a School Psychologist in Nebraska (please include specific certifications when applying)
- Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology
- Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English (required)
- At least one year of experience in a school or special education setting is preferred
- Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
