Blazer Jobs is seeking a Bilingual School Psychologist to join our team in North Platte, Nebraska. This full-time role focuses on supporting K-12 students, providing bilingual services to enhance student outcomes in diverse learning environments.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations in both English and Spanish to address learning and behavioral needs.
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) in collaboration with educators and families.
- Provide individual and group counseling to students, addressing social, emotional, and academic challenges.
- Partner with teachers, administrators, and families to create inclusive and effective support strategies.
- Conduct training sessions for staff on cultural competency and bilingual mental health practices.
Requirements:
- Masters or Doctorate degree in School Psychology.
- Active Nebraska certification as a School Psychologist.
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is required.
- Minimum of one year of experience in a school setting.
- Familiarity with Nebraskas special education regulations and policies.
