Job Overview:
We are seeking a qualified School Psychologist to provide part-time services in Darlington, SC, starting in November. The role involves conducting evaluations and assessments for students in grades 3-5 and high school. The position is flexible, with the option for either in-person or virtual services. The ideal candidate will be knowledgeable about South Carolinas SEED (Special Education Evaluation and Determination) process and have experience working with students at the elementary and secondary levels.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychoeducational evaluations and assessments for students in grades 3-5 and high school.
- Develop and deliver reports on assessment findings.
- Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and parents to develop appropriate support plans.
- Provide recommendations for intervention strategies and educational accommodations.
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide professional consultation to school staff.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of evaluations, assessments, and services provided.
Qualifications:
- Masters or Specialist degree in School Psychology.
- South Carolina School Psychologist Licensure required.
- Experience with South Carolina SEED process and special education regulations.
- Experience working with grades 3-5 and high school students is preferred.
- Ability to work independently and manage a flexible caseload.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Comfortable with both in-person and virtual service delivery.
