Blazer Jobs is actively interviewing for a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position within school districts in the Round Rock, TX area. Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders in students.
- Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) for students requiring speech services.
- Provide direct therapy services to students, addressing speech, language, and communication challenges.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational staff to support student progress.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services, progress reports, and evaluations.
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide input on student goals and progress.
Requirements:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Active state Speech-Language Pathologist license.
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, but CFY candidates are encouraged to apply.
- Previous experience working in a school setting is a plus.
- Familiarity with state and local regulations for providing speech services in a school environment.
