Minimum 1+ years occupational therapy experience required.
We are seeking an experienced and passionate Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join a school district in Moriarty, NM. This role will involve providing essential OT services to support students learning and development.
Requirements:
- Valid COTA license in New Mexico
- Experience in pediatric or school-based OT settings
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with educational teams
Responsibilities:
- Provide therapeutic support under the direction of the supervising OT
- Help students with motor and sensory skills, daily activities, and classroom tasks
- Assist with assessment and progress tracking for IEPs
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals for student success
