We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team in Oakland, CA. This is a great opportunity for an experienced or newly licensed SLP to work in a supportive, collaborative school environment where you will have the chance to make a positive impact on students' communication skills and overall development. As an SLP, you will work with children to assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders in students
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans (IEPs) based on student needs
- Provide direct therapy services to students to improve speech, language, and communication skills
- Work with teachers, parents, and other professionals to monitor progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
- Provide consultation and training to school staff on strategies to support students communication development
- Maintain accurate records of student progress, including therapy sessions, assessments, and goals
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement comprehensive plans for student success
- Participate in IEP meetings, providing professional input on students' speech and language needs
- Provide speech and language screening services as needed
- Stay current with professional development and new therapeutic techniques
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current California State Licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA)
- Experience working with children and adolescents in a school setting is preferred
- Knowledge of speech and language development, disorders, and evidence-based therapeutic approaches
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team and collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals
- Experience with IEP development and working with students with diverse needs
- Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply, though not required
