About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our Special Education team for the current school year. This is a full-time opportunity to make a meaningful difference in students' lives.
Position Details:
- Schedule: Full-time, up to 40 hours per week
- Caseload: Details provided during the interview
- Pay Rate: $40$50/hour, based on experience
Responsibilities:
- Assess and diagnose a variety of speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
- Provide individual and group therapy sessions, monitoring student progress
- Participate in IEP meetings, offering expert recommendations for therapy services
- Maintain accurate documentation of evaluations, treatment plans, and progress reports
Requirements:
- Masters (or higher) degree in Communication Disorders or Speech Language Pathology
- Active SLP Rhode Island License
- Active SLP Teaching Certification
- Bilingual Spanish preferred
