Minimum 1+ years speech therapy experience required.
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Virtual Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC) to join our supportive team in North Carolina. This position is full-time, requiring a commitment to managing a diverse caseload, including therapy sessions, IEP development, evaluations, and progress notes. Our SLPs collaborate to problem-solve and support each other in their caseloads, ensuring students receive the best possible care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide virtual therapy services to students with speech and language disorders.
- Conduct assessments, develop individualized education plans (IEPs), and participate in IEP meetings (ARDs).
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation, including progress notes, evaluations, and other student records.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student needs and goals.
- Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in virtual therapy and telemedicine.
- Provide individualized support tailored to each student's unique needs.
Requirements:
- Masters degree in Communication Disorders or a related field.
- Active North Carolina Educator Certification (preferred but not required for teletherapy).
- Current Speech-Language Pathologist License issued by the state of North Carolina.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA is mandatory.
- Minimum of two years of clinical experience working as an SLP.
- Experience with virtual therapy or teletherapy is preferred, but not required.
- Ability to work independently and manage a caseload remotely.
- Must have reliable internet and a professional setup for virtual therapy.
