Blazer Jobs is seeking dedicated and experienced Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs) for a full-time role with school districts in the Tower City, PA area. Join a dynamic team committed to making a positive impact in students' lives through meaningful therapeutic interventions.
Responsibilities
As a School COTA, you will:
- Collaborate with occupational therapists to implement individualized treatment plans for students.
- Support students in achieving their educational and developmental goals through therapeutic activities.
- Provide direct services to students in accordance with their Individualized Education Program (IEP).
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services provided.
- Communicate effectively with students, families, and educational staff to ensure continuity of care.
- Monitor and report on student progress, recommending adjustments to treatment plans as needed.
Qualifications
Applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Current certification as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) in Pennsylvania.
- Active Pennsylvania state licensure for Occupational Therapy Assistants.
- Experience working with children or in a school setting is highly preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
