Blazer Jobs is seeking an experienced School Psychologist to join our team and support students in Danville, IL. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in providing psychological assessments, counseling, and intervention strategies to help students achieve their best academically, socially, and emotionally.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psycho-educational assessments to evaluate students' learning, emotional, and behavioral needs.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and school staff to develop effective strategies and Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
- Provide counseling to students and consult with teachers to implement classroom interventions.
- Assist in creating a safe and supportive school environment.
Requirements:
- Masters or Specialist-level degree in School Psychology.
- Current Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with a School Psychologist endorsement.
- Minimum of one year of professional experience in school settings.
