Blazer Jobs is actively interviewing experienced Occupational Therapists for a full-time role with school districts in the Marysville, CA area. We are seeking dedicated professionals who are committed to enhancing the lives of students by helping them achieve their fullest potential in academic and daily living skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess students needs and develop individualized treatment plans to improve their functional abilities.
- Provide direct occupational therapy services to students in accordance with their Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other specialists to create supportive learning environments.
- Monitor and document students' progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
- Educate staff and parents on strategies to support students occupational therapy goals.
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of educational strategies.
Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
- Valid California Occupational Therapy License.
- Previous experience in a school setting is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with students, families, and educational staff.
- Commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.
