We are partnering with local school districts to find passionate and experienced professionals who are ready to help students develop essential communication skills. Position Overview:
- Location: Near Kansas City, MO
- Full-Time, Contract Role
- Competitive Pay: $30 - $35 per hour (based on experience)
- Immediate Start Available
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist licensed Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) in providing speech and language therapy to students
- Implement individualized therapy plans to address student needs and goals
- Work directly with students in one-on-one and small group settings to support their communication development
- Monitor and document student progress and provide updates to SLPs, educators, and parents
- Collaborate with educators, therapists, and parents to create a nurturing and effective learning environment
Required Qualifications:
- Current SLPA Certification in Missouri
- Successful completion of an accredited SLPA program
- Ability to pass required district background checks
- Strong communication skills and a team-oriented approach
- Experience in school settings is preferred, but not required
