Blazer Jobs is excited to announce an opportunity for a dedicated School Psychologist to join our team and work with school districts in the Middletown, CT area. We are actively interviewing candidates who meet all local and state requirements for this full-time position.
Responsibilities:

Conduct assessments to evaluate students cognitive, academic, and emotional functioning.

Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).

Provide counseling and crisis intervention to students as needed.

Support staff and families in understanding students needs and developing strategies for success.

Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all evaluations, meetings, and interventions.

Advocate for the mental health and educational needs of students within the school setting.
Qualifications:

Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology.

Valid state School Psychologist license.

Strong knowledge of state and federal regulations related to special education and student services.

Exceptional communication and organizational skills.

Experience working in school settings is preferred.
