Occupational Therapist Full-Time Position
Location: New Orleans, Louisiana
We are currently seeking a School Occupational Therapist for a full-time, onsite position in New Orleans, LA. This opportunity will involve working with students in a school district setting, providing essential therapy services to students in grades K-12.
Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Occupational Therapy
- Active Louisiana Occupational Therapist License
- Experience and comfort working with a diverse range of special needs
Job Details:
- Location: Onsite
- Full-Time: 37.5 hours per week
- Contract Duration: Start ASAP through May 23, 2025 (remaining 2024/2025 school year)
Caseload Overview:
- Caseload: K-12 students, district-wide
- Collaborate with a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to support children
- Assess students functional abilities and create tailored treatment plans
- Provide education to students, educators, and families on therapeutic techniques
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that align with students needs and goals
