Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological assessments to evaluate student learning needs, emotional well-being, and behavior.
- Provide individual and group counseling to students addressing emotional, behavioral, and developmental concerns.
- Develop and implement interventions to support students with emotional, learning, and social challenges.
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to design and implement support plans for students.
- Provide crisis intervention, conflict resolution, and behavioral support in the school environment.
- Support the development and implementation of Social-Emotional Learning (SEL) programs and curricula.
- Work closely with school teams to foster a positive, inclusive school climate that supports student well-being and academic growth.
- Conduct workshops and training for staff, parents, and school community on mental health, behavioral strategies, and SEL.
Qualifications:
- Masters or Specialist degree in School Psychology (or related field).
- Colorado Department of Education (CDE) licensure as a School Psychologist.
- Experience in school-based psychology, particularly in elementary education, is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of psychological assessment, data interpretation, and intervention techniques.
- Experience with Special Education processes, including IEP development and implementation.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to build trusting relationships with students, staff, and families.
