Blazer Jobs is seeking a School Psychologist for an onsite position in Willimantic, CT. The role involves supporting students with special needs, ranging from kindergarten through age 21, in various educational settings.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations for students with special needs.
- Provide individual and group counseling services to students.
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and other professionals to develop and implement effective support plans.
- Assist in the development of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
- Monitor and report on student progress, adjusting interventions as necessary.
- Participate in meetings and case reviews as part of the educational team.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree in Psychology or a related field.
- Valid DOE certification in Connecticut.
- Special Education certification required.
- Comfortable working with an adult caseload (ages K21).
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
