Blazer Jobs is seeking a School Psychologist in Alexandria, VA. This full-time role involves providing school-based psychological services to high school students. The position may allow for a hybrid schedule, with 3-4 days onsite and 1-2 days remote.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide psychological assessments and evaluations for students.
- Offer counseling and mental health support to students in a school setting.
- Collaborate with educators, families, and other professionals to support students emotional and academic growth.
- Assist in the development and implementation of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and other support plans.
- Monitor and document student progress, adjusting services as necessary.
- Participate in meetings and case reviews as part of the educational team.
Qualifications:
- Valid VA School Psychologist licensure and credentials (please confirm and send with application).
- Experience working with high school students in a school-based setting.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work in a hybrid setting (in-person and remote).
