Blazer Jobs is partnering with a school district in Newton, MA, to fill a full-time, onsite Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position for the current school year. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a supportive, school-based setting while making a positive impact on students' lives.
Position Details:
- Location: Newton, MA
- Work Schedule: Full-time, 35 hours per week
- Caseload: K-12
- Onsite Position
Responsibilities:
- Assess and diagnose speech and language disorders
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans
- Provide direct therapy to students with speech and language delays
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to create and monitor IEP goals
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation
- Participate in meetings and professional development opportunities
- Adhere to all school district policies and state regulations
Requirements:
- Active MA SLP License
- CCCs (Preferred)
- School-based experience preferred
- CORI and fingerprinting required
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
