- Masters degree or higher in School Psychology.
- Current and valid stateDepartment of Education School Psychologist certification.
- Compliance withstate licensure for School Psychologists.
- Prior experience in a school setting is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills, with a commitment to supporting diverse student populations.
Responsibilities
- Conducting psychological assessments and evaluations for students.
- Developing and implementing intervention strategies to support student learning and emotional well-being.
- Collaborating with teachers, parents, and administrators to create individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Providing crisis intervention and counseling as needed.
- Promoting a positive school climate and fostering social-emotional development.
- Maintaining thorough documentation and compliance with state and federal regulations.
