Responsibilities:
- Consult and collaborate with staff and parents about prevention, early interventions, and community resources and outside therapies
- Assist with referral and/or maintaining communication with community or private agencies for further evaluation, treatment, or services when needed
- Serve as a contributing member on building and district level teams (i.e. crisis team, MTSS team, student services building teams, grade level teams, PBIS, department meetings etc.)
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Masters Degree or higher in Social Work, School Counseling,or related field
- Active School Social Worker certification/license in Michigan and 310 letter
- Previous experience in an educational setting
- 2-3 reference checks prior to interview
Schedule:
- Start/End Dates:
- Position 1:ASAP - February2025 (can be extended to full school year)
- Position 2:ASAP - June 13, 2025
- Hours: Full Time (35 hours/week); Monday-Friday
- Caseload Details: Middle School caseload
